For our client we are looking for an experienced Café Manager with talent and key skills and to bring their passion into action.
Your key responsibilities as the Cafe Manager will be to:
Forecast payroll control. Analysis of results through KeyPay rostering and Set Sail employee management tools. Ensure all ordering and stock for Shed is on time and that adequate par levels exist at all times. Assist with staff recruitment Oversee the performance of all team members and assist with the training of new and existing team members to develop the team as a whole as well as creating a relaxed, friendly and fun environment that can be called home Ensure team engagement / spirit is high at all times and investigate / resolve any issues causing unrest Develop menus in conjunction with the Head Chef Create and serve a range of beverages
Completed tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management is desirable, but not essential Previous Supervisory experience with the ability to lead a team and manage performance issues as required Must hold NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Card Flexibility in hours as you will be working rostered shifts, especially on weekends Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
