Job Summary: Clinical Director - Provide strategic leadership that underpins best practice in relation to the delivery of offence specific interventions within a correctional environment; - Develop and promote a reputable program of research scholarships, to empower staff to apply theory into practice within the workplace. - Publish research studies and raise the profile of Corrections Victoria as a centre of clinical excellence - Provide professional development opportunities to our clinical workforce; to increase the knowledge base & skills of our clinical staff - Develop, maintain and enhance key professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders including tertiary providers

Job Details:

This is a highly specialised role and as such, to be successful you skills will include;

  • being professionally recognised by your peers as an expert in the delivery of offence specific interventions

  • leading specialist research projects, including successful grant applications and publications

  • an ability to impart your specialist knowledge in areas including corrections and forensicā€related research projects, risk assessments and delivery of interventions in a correctional setting.


A post graduate qualification in Psychology is required.
