Hoochery Distillery is seeking an experience Cook/Chef in our distillery cellar door.
This is role carries out all duties of the kitchen and you will be responsible for:
preparing lunches for a busy cellar door restaurant. There will also be catering required for functions of up to 120 people. Food preparation, such as: Preparing, seasoning and cooking food Portioning of food and adding correct sauces and garnishes Preparing food to meet different dietary requirements Plan and update menus depending on available foods in season Storing food in correct temperature Ordering supplies as needed Work autonomously and independently Maintain the kitchens vegetable/herb garden Planning and preparing daily specials Plan and prepare Sunday afternoon specials menu Plan and prepare the daily cake baking Serve meals to customers Must have own vehicle as the business is located 13km from town of Kununurra.
Good communication skills required.
Required to have Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a minimum of five years’ experience as a Cook
Annual Salary offered of $54,000 to $56,000 per annum
