The Pastor will be the head the Session of the Church and is expected to work with the Session members to ensure accountability to God and the Church membership.
To keep the Church true to fundamental Biblical doctrines. To preach and teach the Word of God soundly and faithfully that the congregation may grow in spiritual maturity. To perform duties of ministering the sacraments of the Lord's Supper and Baptism, as well as officiating weddings, funerals and other events. To take care of the needs of the congregation, which includes visitations, spiritual guidance, counselling, and comforting those in need. To serve as Christ's ambassador and ensure that the activities of the Church continues to fulfill its God-given role in the community and beyond, which includes an enthusiastic heart for local and overseas missions.
