Indicative Total Remuneration: $76,475 - $106,005 (pro rata) - Perm P/T (15 hrs p/wk) - RN/M1

As the Practice Nurse at Booleroo Medical Centre, you will provide high quality person-centred care to patients attending the Medical Practice. You will provide a range of nursing services including, but not limited to, venepuncture, spirometry, blood pressure monitoring, wound care and cervical screening. You will also provide immunisation services and coordinate the health care of patients with chronic or terminal diseases or multiple co-morbidities. Assessing individual patient needs, you will plan, implement and coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options, including those provided by other disciplines or agencies.

As part of your role, you may provide clinical education and support relevant to administration staff and support nursing/midwifery practice and learning experiences for students undertaking clinical placements. You will need to be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and/or Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. With the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads, you will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a rural healthcare setting.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements.
