Project Manager required for this major builder delivering projects across the Newcastle and Hunter region
Your new company This market leading commercial builder deliver a wide range of projects for clients across the public and private sectors. This includes retail, health, education, residential and industrial projects valued up to $100M.
They have recently been awarded a number of projects and are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join their Newcastle team as soon as possible.
Your new role Working as a Project Manager, you will oversea a number of projects and responsibilities will include:
Managing a team including CA's, PE's, Site Managers and Foremen Managing cash flow and cost reporting Coordinating the negotiation and implementation of contracts Overseeing QA and WHS management Coordinating project programming and scheduling Some business development including attending networking events
What you'll need to succeed As the successful candidate you'll have:
Prior commercial project management experience, with strong experience delivering projects over $30M You will be a natural leader and build strong rapport with your team Strong communication and time management skills Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic You must also have excellent interpersonal skills with clients and contractors A Bachelor of Construction Management (advantageous)
