Job Details:


  • Taking full ownership of several teams within Workers Compensation, managing Team Leaders, as well as an Injury Management and Technical Expert

  • Providing advice and guidance to Team Leaders, supporting their career development

  • Overseeing business plan initiatives in relation to claims strategies

  • Meeting financial objective through monitoring costs and RTW claims and control of claims leakage

  • Undertaking claims reporting and implement strategies to remedy any areas of improvement

  • Overseeing risk and compliance, ensuring all controls are robust and identifying opportunities to improve

  • Meeting clients quarterly to review claims and discuss performance 

  • Taking responsibility for more complex/sensitive claims



  • Preferably coming from a multi-team environment, managing Team Leaders and used to managing all areas of a workers compensation team

  • Fully up to date with legislation and able to provide highly technical guidance when required

  • Ability to implement claims strategy, process and procedures

  • Exposure to looking a business improvements, reviewing claims performance and obtaining the best outcomes
